Trustees
We have six trustees: two work in special education, two are pyschologists, one is with London University and the sixth is an Ofsted Inspector. Our trustees have overall responsibility for the charity and govern the activities of the Chief Executives.
Independent fostering panel
Our fostering panel oversees the approval and review of our foster carers. Meeting whenever necessary, they assess prospective foster carers and recommend whether or not to approve them. They also meet to review every foster carer annually, and whenever necessary.
Executive team
Inaura merged with another charity, 'Choices for you' in 2007, and each charity retained its chief executive in the role. CE responsibilities are shared between them. Adam is Headteacher of Inaura school and responsible individual for the fostering agency, and Amanda is Head of Fostering and Pastoral support across the organisation. We also have a deputy head of school, Liz Sharpe, and our fostering agency's registered manager is Larry Galloway.
School staff
Our school staff are loyal and committed to our work. Over the last three years only three members of staff have moved on. Many of our staff have become employed after working on a voluntary basis in our school.
Foster-carers
We have a small but dedicated group of foster carers. Our agency was set up to achieve more with children whose relationships were damaged, broken, and painful and who needed care outside their families. We are still developing our approach to fostering and at the right time we hope to grow our agency further.
Volunteers
We regularly take on volunteers who can offer our school or agency something special, their commitment and belief. To find out more, tell us who you are and what you hope to do, using the contacts link above.
