What we do

We have a network of links to social care and education agencies in Somerset and the West Country, bringing children who need care together with people who can provide a home for them.
Our carers look after children and young people between the ages of 5 and 18, who:
1. have experienced insecurity, upheaval, disturbance and distress
2. need a home throughout the year or for school days only.
3. have a variety of emotional and social needs.
4. are both challenging and rewarding.
5. may be from the West Country or from much further afield.
Our carers receive exceptional training in relational skills and restorative approaches and support from a team including psychologists, social workers and therapists.
