We are a young energetic and imaginative organization, totally committed to the well being of our children and young people.
We help our carers develop the skills to:
provide a non-judgmental and non-punitive environment for a child or young person,
facilitate healthy ‘attachments’, emotional recovery, and improved social skills
set and maintain safe and supportive boundaries,
deal with conflicts restoratively,
We ask our children and young people:
* to tell us if they would like to live with the carers we can provide for them.
* to recognise we need them to help us so we can help them.
* to dare to hope and to develop those hopes into a life plan.
* We work with placing authorities and other agencies
* to ensure our standards are the highest possible
* to communicate well and provide transparency in how we deliver our service
* to involve the wider community through our foster panel and ensure that our carers are independently assessed and reviewed by them.
To meet and where possible exceed the National Minimum Standards for Fostering via Ofsted inspections.
