What we believe in

We believe that:
* all young people want to be healthy and live in a safe supportive home and we can help them find a way to achieve this.
* the first step is to build good relationships with the young person and their families or carers.
* we can help our children and young people to rebuild their lives and resolve their problems.
* our organisation should be open, fair and honest.
* everyone is equal and everyone is fallible.
* when there is a difficulty we should ask the child or young person to change their outlook but we should also seek to provide a change of opportunity.
* In general children should not be forced to do things they do not want to do.
we can give our children and young people hope and help them find their place in society, supporting them to move on to college, work or training.
* we can teach them how to make good relationships with friends and in school.
